Why We Are Here:

We are parents of children with Galactosemia just like you. We started Galactosemic Families of the Southern States (GFSS) because we wanted to help other familes living with Galactosemia. We are not only support for parents but we also want our kids to have life long friendships with other kids like them. Our goal is to provide support to newly diagnosed families by providing an information folder for doctors to give to their new families. We want to be one of the first contacts new families have. Those first days and months are so scary but we can make it a little easier.
